Buka Puasa 2007

It's been a while since i've updated my blog, nothing much to blog about, no new images from my small camera. Well here are some shots from a few of my berbuka puasa sessions with my workmates.

My New Pets

My long time dream of owning a pair of monkeys as my pet came true last friday when i came out from my house and discovered these 2 monkeys.

Took my Nikon D70 & Nikkor 80-200 hence this shots were acquired. Was imagining instead of my D70, i was holiding a .50 caliber Barrett M95 sniper riffle. How fun would that be!

Silvia & 180SX Cruise

Woke up at 6am, 6:30 left home, met leona at shell, proceed to meeting point in Shell MRR2 for the Silvia & 180SX morning cruise to Bukit Tingi.

Brought my video camera hence the lack of images, was a slow cruise from MRR2 to Batu Caves, then comes the famous ulu yam route. We all had walkie talkies in our cars so the minute we entered the windy roads to ulu yam, i heard the word GO and all hell broke loose! 

At first it was a fast grip drive up the hilly roads, then i saw smokes and tyre marks from the cars infront. That could only mean 1 thing. Dorifuto !!!!! 

Left, Right, Straight, all i could see is smoke then all of a sudden.

Luckly nothing serious, and no major damage to the car, the only problem was how the hell are we suppose to get the car across the big drain. 

Thanks to the reflective poles around the curve and some cable ties, we managed to build a bridge 4x4 style and got the car across for more drifting action.

p/s: That's not my car, it's a friends car. I was 2 cars behind him. In front of me was a Ferrari 550 Maranello.

Super GT 2007

Super GT 2007, more like GT Queens 2007 Galore! Went back to Sepang on Sunday for Super GT, arrived just in time for the pit walkabout where i had to battle hundreds of photogs sniping away with 200, 300, 400, even 500 mm lense.

Participated in my first real competition. I'm hooked. Pretty happy with my points being it's my first ever competition. Got 80 points for one of my runs during the qualifying. Damn that felt good.

Stuck in Pekan Fest 2007

Last week i was away for 7 days at Pekan, Kuantan for an exhibition. What a boring 7 days besides the casual ponteng to watch drift moments. Pekan Fest was actually a mix of trade show, concerts, drift competition and power boat race.

I had to take care of the Proton booth in the exhibition. One of the 'highlights' for me was the ATM (Angkatan Tentera Malaysia) display, where i had to phsyically play with GUNS!
